We achieve our goal of every player attending the College or University of their choice through exposure and competition in the United States.

We assist our players reach the next level in academics and athletics through advancement into the US Prep School system, the NCAA or CUFLA here at home in Canada.

Our coaches will also contact college coaches of the institution you are interested in attending directly via phone, email and sometimes even in person. We work closely with the Capitals families to help them gain the exposure to the colleges they are interested in attending. We already have many established relationships with coaches at US Prep Schools and in NCAA. We have your best interests at heart and will do everything we can to get you where you want to be.

It doesn’t matter whether that level is; what matters most is that the player strives to reach their goal of playing at a specific level and/or program. We want our players to be seriously committed and to want to be the best and play alongside and against a very high level of talent. We want our players to reach our high expectations and have the willingness to work towards the goals set by the program and that they in turn set for themselves.

If you are looking a recreational league or for a pay to play environment then we are not the program for you.

Meet The

coaches

We show players more than just the fundamentals of the game, we show them how to succed by using proven techniques and methods of coaching with a vast understanding of every position. The Ottawa Capitals Lacrosse Club is about quality instruction for the players and all the coaches work together to give the best experience possible, guaranteed.

Communication with players is essential. You can be an encyclopedia of knowledge but if you do not know how to express it, you’re useless as a coach. We work hard to develop the skill of communicating ideas so that players will perform at a high level.

Players must commit to fundamentals but must also be ready to think and learn “outside the box” and learn from different ideas and approaches.
